Welcome To My Blog!
It's a Blog Party and I'm so excited to be having some company this week. You see--this is a spankin' new blog and I haven't had too much company yet! I will do my best to entertain you while you are here. I haven't written many posts yet but I have posted a few pictures you might like to see! So--just to give you a glimpse of my family and me, I give you this-- an 'appetizer' , if you will! 4 INTERESTING THINGS ABOUT MY FAMILY ( I picked 4 because who wants to be here all day trying to think of something...)
- I Love Coke--OK, so that's not interesting and I don't know how secret--but I refuse to go a single day without it. I can't--I need it--it needs me--an addiction maybe! I will go to any length to get it...
- My hubby is a pilot and we have lived in a lot of different places--including the coldest place in the US (this is my opinion)--North Dakota. I still have a hard time believing anyone enjoys that kind of brutal weather! We have also lived in Washington state--which I would gladly go back to--in spite of my southern roots. We have also spent some time in Oklahoma, Texas, and California! My hubby, being the actual military member, has been all over the world--places like Spain, Italy, England, Germany, Japan, Turkey, Saudi (of course), and many, many others! Am I jealous of all his travels? A RESOUNDING 'YES'! Do I think he owes me a few trips? ANOTHER RESOUNDING 'YES'
- We have experienced the still birth of a daughter and 14 months later, the birth of twins. The birth and subsequent death of our daughter ( which was completely unexpected) was excruciatingly painful. The birth of our twins was exhilarating and restorative. Only God can do something so big and so wonderful that you feel 'healed' from your pain in an instant! We love Jesus around here--and unashamedly so--if you need a friend or a comforter--He will stick closer to you than a brother!
- Ok- I can't leave out that we are a home-schooling family. We have been for 10 years. I have loved every minute of it until this year when I felt like it was time for a change. Our kids are enrolled in a private Christian school for next year and they are very excited! I have a 9th grader and two 4th graders.
God bless you all and enjoy the PAR-TAY! I hope to get around to visiting you all this week! It's going to be fun. Head over to 5 Minutes For Mom to find all the participants and the PRIZES!
Ps. For a picture of me go here. For a picture of where I live, go here.

Just blog-party hoppin' and thought I'd say Hi!! We're military as well, with one kid in private school and the other 3 at home with me. Good to meet you!
Very interesting facts Jenna!
I am right there with you on #1!!
What a great party post! I haven't posted my party tid bit yet, but I will soon! Thanks for the 6 things about you, and the great little look into your life. I absolutely LOVE your house. I can't wait to move back to the country.
Just had to stop in and meet you! Greetings from another unashamed, Jesus-loving, Air Force family. We are currently stationed in Missouri. We just left Okinawa in November. When I saw your post about Gatlinburg I decided we had to be friends (Bossy, aren't I?). I'm originally from East Tennessee and Gatlinburg is one of my favorite places ever!
Nice to meet you! We're a homeschooling family too. Your husband sounds like my son. He rubs his dad's feet from time to time, and when he does he'll usually take a whiff. I can't believe I actually wrote that somewhere public. lol
Hi there, nice to meet you! I homeschool my kids too, one of them also must take off his clothes in the bathroom. I don't get it!!!
Stopping by to say hi!
Linda
plain coke or cherry? regularor diet? these things are important to know! ;)
thanks for stopping by my blog and visiting. Its nice to meet a fellow mid-westerner. I'm originally an OKIE! Thank you for sharing about your life. Have gone through 2 miscarriages in the past 2 years, I too can attest to God's grace in the hard times.
Party hopping! :) Thanks for visiting me earlier. I can't remember if my blog says but I am in TN so it's nice to visit another southern girl! I like your blog. I will drop by and visit often. Loved your list by the way.
Looks like a fun thing to participate in! Enjoyed reading about your family.
ROFL!!!! I just about fell off my chair when I read about your DH's gross habit! My DH does the same thing! EEEEWWWW!
My nephew has to use the restroom buck nekkid too! Don't know why.
Visiting for the party. Nice to meet you!
Jenna,
SO great to "meet" you! Thanks so much for letting me know you've been reading. I always pray for everyone who reads, whoever they are... so I've been praying for you!
I hope you have a blessed weekend. :)
Jenna, so nice to meet you! And I have a fondness already for you because my littlest girl is named Jenna.
I really enjoyed learning about you and your family. What a wonderful testimony you have.
I also home school and have two daughters, 4 and 7.
I hope you can stop by!
Blessings,
~Tammy
Hello! Thanks for inviting me in. I scrolled down some and saw the picture of your house...how beautiful!!!
Laura

Nice meeting you!
My hubby is a pilot too.
Swinging in for the Ultimate Blog Party!!! Nice meeting ya. We homeschool too.
Happy party week!!! PARTY ON!!!
My first party favor give-away has begun. Come over when you get a chance.
Thanks for stopping by my party....I loved your 6 things...I really enjoyed my visit.....and again I say Coke is the only one and I will do whatever it takes to get at least one in a day too.....it's definitely an addiction for me....
Blessings
Hi! Party hopping. :)
You have a wonderful family. :) Don't our kids do some WEIRD things??? (And our hubbies too for that matter!)
Thanks for inviting us over!
Have a great day!
Hey Jenna!
{{opening a cold can of Coke and passing it over}}
Nice to meet you! And I totally know what you mean about going to any lengths to get a Coke! I'm quite grouchy until my first Coke of the day. I guess some are that way with coffee, but I haven't figured out how to like that yet :)
Welcome to the somewhat warm South too :)
Lisa B.
Hi Jenna nice to meet you
interesting list
I am sori about your loss
visit me at http://jenz.wordpress.com/
First of all..welcome to blogging!! This is the perfect time to join so that you can meet other people. I love your six items...I am a "Diet Coke addict"...but it has to be from a fountain. It cannot be the can or bottle...my boys think it's a sickness.
My DH and DS 3 are getting ready to take flying lessons. I'm a little nervous about it..but glad they are persuing something for which they have a passion.
I hope you'll come by my blog. I'll try to stop back by this week as well.
Blessings.
:-) Susan
Oh I too love coke!
Happy blog party week!
Nice to meet you!
My hubby was contacted about a job in North Dakota, but the whoel emigration thing is far too complicated.
thanks for having us over to the party! I'm glad you "delurked" and said hi on my party post - it's always nice to "meet" another military family!
Just stopping in for the party! I'm another homeschooling mom. My son did that n*ked thing for awhile. Turns out he had, as a toddler, gotten his clothes dirty while using the bathroom, so to avoid that, he'd take them all off. He's 10 and sometimes still does.
Stop on by my place at womanwithmanyhats.com, where I put up fun exploding bubbles for the party! (It's not my Blogger account so I have to type it out for you).
#2and#3 made me LOL! and #5 almost made me cry!!! How WONDERFUL that you had twins to heal you from your terrible loss.
I am preg right now - and I am just so afraid I won't get to have a healthy baby. I just can't bear to lose another - or to go through all this worry again.
I went to Christian school for 5 years and loved it!
So great to meet you!
Hello there. Hopped over from 5 Minutes for Mom. Hope you don’t mind the visit, and future ones.
Have a great weekend.
Mike

I'm here for the party. Thanks for sharing your list, although I am sorry about your loss.
We are currently a homeschooling family. Everyone asks how long I will do ti for - and I always say "as long as it works!"
Enjoy the last day of the big party.
