Oh Yes, And I Had a Birthday Too
Y'all, I feel so blessed. I had such a wonderful birthday--all the cards, phone calls, comments, and gifts were just wonderful. So, here's a picture of my stash--minus the money.

My husband and kids got me the great knife set. I heart it. I know many would not want something that goes in the kitchen for their birthday, but, the truth is, I often ask for that kind of stuff. I haven't really used it yet, because I haven't cooked this week--except for the twin's soup.

The brown and pink make-up bag is from Mandalyn. I can't wait to take it with me on my trip to the mountains in two weeks. The Casting Crown's CD is from Mandalyn's mom. She was so thoughtful to give that to me--it meant a lot. I have a pretty photo album and a mom's planner from two of my most precious friends--one of whom also made me a birthday cake. There is a black and silver necklace and earrings in the front of the picture from my real life bloggy friend, Jenny. I've worn the earrings twice already.

Annie sent me a sweet package filled with goodies. I particularly like the picture/plaque she sent that says "I found love in an awesome God." She sent a pretty bracelet too.

B's aunt sent me the best looking card--if you look in the picture above you will spot Elvis over on the left side. Some people know me so well! It was perfect.

All in all, it was a great day for me. I am going to enjoy this, my last year in the 30's. Where did the time go? Will 40 hit me hard? Stay tuned...

You made out!! :)
What is that foot thing in front of the knife set?
And what kind of b'day cake did you get? Is it your favorite? I'd like to know that. :)

Oooh, some good stuff! Glad you had a great birthday! The mountain trip sounds nice for this time of year.
I tend to ask for a lot of kitcheny type things too!

Man, you hit the jackpot. I didn't even come close to that loot! I don't think we should think about 40. Let's just enjoy where we are at.:)

Happy birthday! I like to think of my age as 20-10, rather than 30.

So happy 20-19!

It looks like you got a lot of fun stuff! Is that a new planner in the background? I love those kind of gifts - the kind of presents that only women would think to get each other. FUN!

You sound like a gift person, just like me. Even the littlest gift means a ton to me, because I know that person thought about me.

Happy Birthday to you ALL! I was just thinking about you today because I am really struggling my way through having little twins. They are so sweet and I LOVE them, but lately I am feeling SO inadequate. I was just wondering if you ever felt like that when your babies were babies...probably not!
Have a great day, Jenna!
Love,
Corrie

So glad you had a great birthday! Just thought I would tell you that all my weight loss efforts went down the drain last week at Disney! Now I have to get some self-control back. :)
