Weekend Reflection
Ugh--I just typed this whole post and accidentally hit the wrong button and deleted it! I guess I will start all over...
Here are the nicest things about my week:
- Chinese on Sunday for lunch, a nice pot-luck at our house after Life-groups
- Since I felt bad Monday, I was so glad someone left a whole bucket of KFC for supper.
- Tuesday, I had my fake blonde put in. That probably made my hubby happier than anyone as he hates my "skunk-stripe"!
- Wednesday and Thursday were big errand days and I am so glad I got a lot done!
- Friday we went for a nice steak dinner--we even let the kids order steak--that's a big treat around here. Except for the bug crawling in M.'s salad, we had a wonderful time and had a nice discount to boot!
- Today, we finished up a big fundraiser for Teen Bible Quiz and that makes me very happy! Both of the twins scored several times in their respective games and that made them happy and me very proud!
Have a great week!

A bug... ew!!!
Reminds me of the time mom & I went to a fashion show luncheon (I was 6) at a fancy hotel and I turned my meat over to find a roach cooked in!
Sounds like you had a great week too!
I put my order in for a blog design with Bluebird blogs a few weeks ago, can't wait to see what it will look like but she said six weeks so maybe another month? Anyway, I was tired of what Amanda has called my goth valentine template so I loaded another this morning...
Everyone tells us we look alike, even at Matt's grandmother's funeral people thought we were each other (not so bad to be thought of as a 16 year old at 37 :o)
Hi! I liked your blog! Thanks for visiting mine. We are in the Assemblies of God. I didn't grow up in it though, that would have been awesome. We love the Rangers, JBQ and my daughter is hoping to be an honor star someday.
I noticed your kids are in TBQ. I'd love to know what you think of it. Today was my son's last JBQ match...we are praying about TBQ.
Sounds like we have a bunch in common. : )
Blessings!
Sounds like a wonderful week (except for that bug)!
Hi Jenna! Thanks for stopping by my place! What a fun party. Wow, getting used to private school vs home-schooling must be a challenge. I hope to read more about you and yours in the future!
Oh GAG! A bug in the food! Other than that sounds like the week was good though. I need my fake blonde done too but I don't have the cash right now! :) Thanks for participating.
Jenna so nice to meet you. I did not know there was new movie coming out for the Love Comes Softly series. I will on the look out for that.
Thanks so much for visiting, I will be back to visit soon!
Sounds like your week was fun! Maybe the bug was really just a burnt crouton?!!! LOL! Have a blessed week!
