Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread
I am posting this absolutely yummy recipe for Renee. She asked me for it after seeing my comment at another blog.
Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread
3 cups all purpose flour
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
4 eggs
2 cups sugar
2 cups canned pumpkin
1 and 1/4 cups vegetable oil
1 and 1/2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips
*
Combine flour, cinnamon, salt, baking soda. In another bowl, beat eggs, sugar, pumpkin, and oil. Stir in dry ingredients until moistened. Fold in chocolate chips. Pour into 2 greased 8x4 pans (I use the aluminum throw away kind). Bake at 350 for 60-70 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes.

Sounds yummy.

Hey, I noticed you only gave Chocolate Beach two stars. Bummer. I loved it. Oh and I just finished The Scarlet Thread. LOVED it. I just wanted to keep reading. Do you know of any books that are similar to that one?

Ahem...still looking for that blog design. ;)

I don't think I ever would have thought about chocolate chips and pumpkin together but it sounds intriguing! Might copy it and try sometime.

I make pumpkin bread (usually in the fall) and have never heard of choc chips in it! Sounds good enough to make it in July though!!!

Yummy! This really does sound good. I may just try it using white chocolate chips, though. I can't eat much chocolate since it's a migraine trigger for me. Thanks for sharing!

I have a pumpkin bread I've made in the fall, but right now, I can't for the life of me remember if it has chocolate chips in it. It sounds delicious though, so I'm going to have to save this and hope fall comes soon so I can try it :)

Thanks for sharing!
