Menu Plan Monday 4/2-4/8
I thought this week I would post breakfasts and lunches for a change. Honestly, it will be easy as I'm not that creative early in the day and we have the same stuff over and over and over...I know you can hardly wait, so here goes:
- Breakfast: Monday -Friday is cereal and juice,Pancakes on Saturday, Eggs and cinnamon toast on Sunday
- Lunch: Monday-Sandwiches, apples, milk. Tuesday- egg salad sandwiches, chips, carrots. Wednesday- left-over tacos. Thursday- Macaroni and cheese. Friday- leftover chicken and dumplin's. Saturday- who knows, whatever we find. Sunday-we almost always eat out, but have been invited to dine in the home of friends for Easter.
Now on to Supper plans:
- Monday- We will grill something, haven't decided what yet, roasted potatoes, broccoli
- Tuesday- tacos
- Wednesday- beef tips and gravy at church
- Thursday- Chicken and dumplin's (This is tentative because I may be driving to visit family that might be passing through 2 hours from my home. I truly hope that doesn't happen because I literally haven't seen them in 20 years. Hope that doesn't sound terrible, but it seems like it might be a bit awkward.)
- Friday- concert--going out for dinner/don't know where but I'm excited!
- Saturday-Cubed steak (simmered in tomato sauce and green peppers), mashed potatoes, and purple hull peas

Jenna,
Hi!Can I link your blog to my sidebar? : )
Becky
You totally crack me up. Thank you, thanks, and thanx. I think that covers it? :o)
Wow, you are the fancy pants this week with breakfast & lunch menus!
Your menu looks great and I would be excited if my Friday was your Friday too!
Have a delicious week.

Breakfasts and lunches- Wow! Have a wonderful time at the concert! :)
I love purple hull peas! I hardly ever hear of anyone eating them anymore. I thought it was just a "country" thing! Your menus sound good and the breakfasts - so easy!
And just which concert would you be going to?? Oh, the menu looks great. I just love your cooking! You need to include some "salmonella" chicken sometime! ;0)
It all sounds great to me! I'm not sure I'll ever be organized enough to post breakfasts and lunches! Woo Hoo for you! What concert are you going to? Please do tell so the rest of us can be jealous! LOL!
That all sounds really good, Jenna, especially the breakfast and lunch parts. I love seeing everyone's menu... it's like a little sliver of a looking glass into their daily routine. Plus, I love food, so it's all good to me :)
Hope you have a wonderful week and a very blessed Easter!
I'm impressed! The seat of the pants method combined with leftovers is how lunch is done here.
That would be why I am running to the store in about 5 minutes--that and I still need some stuff for tonight!
Have a super day!
Julie
Chicken and dumplings, haven't made them in forever! Sounds good, and like a busy week. Enjoy it all!
Yummy! Your menu sounds so good this week. I'll be thinking good thoughts for you if you end up having to travel out. 20 years is a very long time and with my social anxiety issues, LOL, that would have me freakin' right about now! :o)
I love chicken and dumplings. I should make a batch too before it gets warm again.
I wanna know the concert details as well! (and btw, I finally got my meme up)!
looks like a yummy week!
our usual breakfast here is something from the freezer into the toaster (pancakes, waffles, etc.)! i can't believe my mom used to make my sisters and me a hot breakfast nearly every morning!
thanks for stopping by!
Sounds good! I especially like the Saturday meal. You must let me know how to do that cube steak.
Lovely meals!I think you are doing an excellent job in not wasting anything and providing tasty and nutricious home made meals for your family.
Have a great week, and thank you so much for stopping by and for your encouraging comments.
Happy Easter to you and your family!
