A Photo of Me
I took pictures of myself--this was the best of the bunch. I got quite tickled at some of the pictures because they were so awful. I must be the most un-photogenic person on the planet--truly. (And please don't say I'm not un-photogenic--you just don't know how many pictures I had to take of myself to find one I was willing to post!!) Why, you might ask, were you taking pictures of yourself? Don't know-- maybe I was just was hoping one of them would come out looking like this...ahem:

But, I'm afraid that what you see is what you get--and I'm pretty ok with that!

I think you're just beautiful! I love your hair! Looks so nice and easy to deal with. It looks light weight too! Maybe I'll get brave enough to take a pic of myself and post it....then you'll see who really isn't photogenic! LOL!

I did the same thing the other day! Funny thing is I didn't post one of them! Well, I take that back... there is one I put on Izzy's blog but only of my eye :o)... I guess we are all our own worst critics and I feel particularly unattractive lately... I think I'm just in a funk... but, I do like your pic & think you are lovely too.

BTW, we have the same haircut. I've let mine grow out some and in my photo I posted last week I had straightened it, but I love that cut, don't you???
I think you have the most gorgeous eyes - they are the windows to the soul, you know? And from what I can determine just from this pic (so now I've become an 'eye-reader' which is akin to a 'palm-reader' HA! LOL/JK) you must be a very loyal and warm friend!
I think I'm digging that haircut, too. Wonder what it would look like on a blonde-turning-gray-52-year-old grandma of 4?

Great picture.....I know what you mean....I hate taking pictures in fact I got my daughter to take some of me.....and out of 20-30 pictures...there was none I liked.....I only wish I could look like Meg Ryan....in my dreams!

You are funny! I hate having to take pictures of myself. I always think they look worse than when someone else takes a photo of me.

I love the picture. It is so good to put a face with the name. I know what you mean about taking pictures to post...I swear I must live 85% of my life with my eyes closed according to the pictures we have. It's amazing how well I apparently see through my eyelids.
