Break a Leg
First, let me apologize for being what Annie called "MIA" the past few days. There has been a lot going on around here, and I am trying to deal with it all. I have been reading every one's posts--just haven't had the energy to do any commenting. I am going to start fresh tomorrow, and I promise you will see me around your place again soon. I did want to take a few minutes to post a couple pictures from the play. This particular play was copyrighted, so I have precious few pictures. We were not supposed to take pictures or video-tape during the play performance--so I took a bunch of pictures during the dress rehearsal. A technicality, I'm sure. I also don't want to post any close up or full front pictures of anyone without their permission. So, here's a couple that I felt ok about posting.
M and K as orphans
The cast singing "Tomorrow" at the end of the play. My hubby is the "bald" guy! K is standing next to him in a red dress and pantaloons. M is in the center in a green and blue flowered dress.
*Note that I was not the only one taking advantage of a technicality*
I was so impressed with everyone in the play. This was definitely the best that the YMCA has put on here. My family has been involved in the last 5 plays, and this was my favorite, by far.
My husband and children did a wonderful job and I am so proud of all three of them.

Awww, what cute pictures! I was in *Annie* when I was about 5, LOL. It was always my favorite movie, growing up. So glad y'all enjoyed yourselves so much!! :o)
I hope things get a little better for ya!! :o)
The pictures are so good! I hope everything is okay at your house. Catch up with you soon.
Looks like it was great! I love musicals!
Our family has done the play thing too, and it's such a relief when it's over, even though it's a ton of fun.
My little brother was Winthrop in The Music Man when he was in 3rd grade. He was cute as a button, but it took the involvement of the entire family to keep him where he was supposed to be and make sure it went smoothly. We did several other things where more of us were involved, but they just weren't as cool as The Music Man.
That's so weird, I just 'felt' like something was going on with you and although I don't know what is going on please know that you are in my prayers.
The pictures are so cute, it looks like it was very successful. Your girls make adorable little orphans!
I did miss you! Great pics, and I have one to email you. But, it's just not as clear as I was hoping it would be. In my defense, I didn't see the note about no cameras until the 2nd performance!!
Cute pictures! I was only involved in one play as a child and I was in charge of props. I never knew how anybody memorized that many lines! :)
Looks like fun!
That play sounds wonderful! And they look adorable! :)
I understand about getting a bit swamped and being MIA once in awhile!
Blessings!
You are awfully sweet to "come around our places" and comment in the first place. : )
Great pictures!
What nice pictures..Thanks for sharing those with us
looks like they had a fun time!
I'm glad you took advantage of the "technicality" LOL! Great pics and I know this had to be a fun experience!
That sounds wonderful. I wish we had more community plays.
Aw, cute pics! I bet it was fun, Annie is a great play.
