So Glad To Be Home
It is so wonderful to be home. I am beyond pooped, so this will be abbreviated. We got home from the National Junior Bible Quiz tournament last night around 930 pm (16 hours one way), so I spent today finishing up laundry and getting the kids packed for camp. Tomorrow morning, K gets braces, and then I am driving the kids to church camp (2 hours one way). So, I promise to be back with a little more gusto on Wednesday. I did want to let you know that we came in 17th place out of 75 teams competing. There are over 1600 JBQ teams in the US, so we are very pleased with how our team did. The highest we have ever placed before is 27th (or so). It was quite the experience for them to be in the top 20. I'm so proud. I don't know if I will ever get caught up with reading all your posts from the last week. I may actually hit the "all read" button for the first time ever. Please forgive me if I do.

Wow - 17th place! That's awesome. I'd love to hear a blow-by-blow of the event (after you get a nap, clean clothes, etc.). With all the hype about spelling bees, this might be the next big summer sleeper movie! :)

Glad to have you back.

How wonderful they did so well. That is something to be proud of. Praying you get caught up quickly. Being away from home sure can wear a person out.

Sounds fun...except for the 16 hour car drive, that is! Although, I don't mind traveling in the car with good company, so maybe it was fun! Anyway, glad you had a safe trip and congrats on doing so well!

I've had to hit that "mark all read" button, too, and I don't like it one bit. Good job on JBQ!!
