Menu Plan Monday
Posting this on Tuesday is forgivable, isn't it? Even though I read other people's menus yesterday, I completely forgot to make up my own. So, here it is in all its glory.
- Monday-We had leftover Pioneer Woman's lasagna. This is absolutely delicious. We discovered that it is just as good if you use all ground beef and no sausage. I made two pans--one with sausage and one without. Sausage has MSG in it and hubby is allergic, so I made one just for him. We were split about half and half as to which one was the best.
- Tuesday- Homemade Chicken and Rice soup. This is a staple around here. We have it quite often.
- Wednesday- Fried chicken at church- that is always a treat.
- Thursday- Tacos
- Friday- Chicken and Broccoli casserole. This is one of my favorite meals--probably because of the curry in it. I will post this recipe at my food blog. If you haven't visited, drop on by. I'm only posting one new recipe a week.
- Saturday- TBQ (Teen Bible Quiz) kickoff swim party. We will be eating there. B and I are in charge of the quizzing team this year. Fun.
Hope you all have a great week. Thanks to Laura for hosting.

Whew... I was stressed about the lack of your menu yesterday :o)!
I made the PW lasagna last night! and being the garlic lover I am (I love garlic) I forgot to put the garlic in the sauce. I think that may have really hurt the overall product? but, it was still tasty and I think I will skip the sausage next go too, I'm not fond of that sausage flavor... But it was good and it's going to be for dinner tonight because we only ate maybe 1/3 of it including the piece I had for breakfast (bad, bad annie!)
Your week looks just delish. I'm going to check out your recipe.
Nothing wrong with being late! :o) Your menu sounds good ... with some fun tucked in there, too. :o)
Your menu plan sounds delicious! I've been seeing the Pioneer Womans lasagna popping up all over. We'll have to try it soon. Have a good week.
Yum, that all sounds so good! Is the chicken and rice soup recipe posted at your food blog? I hope so, I'd love to see that one. :)
Hope you guys all have a wonderful week!!!
Tuesday would be perfectly normal and fine! I can tend to do the same thing....when I have a big enough group around sometime I need to try that lasagna because I think it sounds so good!
