A Visitor
The day before B. and K.--(read: yesterday) left for their missions trip to Milwaukee, our niece came to visit us for a couple of weeks. Our niece is 2--almost 3--and quite the handful, especially when you consider there hasn't been anyone that age in our household for 9 years. A person truly does forget how demanding a toddler is--whew!! We've had KP for 28 hours and I'm already worn out!! And potty training--forget it--I may just stick with the diapers--we'll just have to see on that one.
(Judging by A's face, I'm guessing the water's a little too cold.)
The fun thing about the three in this picture is that they all share the same birthday. KP was born on the twin's 9th birthday!

Oh, you are SO brave. I think I'd last about 2hours with a 2-year-old. Two weeks??? You are going to sleep so well at night for the next two weeks, friend. :)
I missed you Sunday & wondered where you were! That explains it! I know what you mean about 2 year olds! They will wear you out but my, my the memories are sooo worth it! For your kids as well! Love you! So glad you are back blogging.... (Coach J's Mom)
Isn't it funny how quickly we forget how active a toddler is! 2 weeks, you deserve some kind of reward! When I visit my little grandkids I'm exhausted after a couple of days. I got the TX ones a pool while out there...nothing like that backyard fun.
Do the twins enjoy KP? Emelia is their age and loves little kids! When her friends have younger siblings she is more interested in them than her peers. I wonder if it's that age.
